The United Black Student Unions of California (U.B.S.U.C.) is a 35-years non-profit organization committed to the development of cultural, social, and ethnic diversity in our community. Through education, our students develop a strong sense of community conscientiousness and positive self-image. Engaging in a host of diverse activities sponsored by the U.B.S.U.C., over 100,000 young adults realize personal dreams and professional success. Many program graduates are now leaders and professionals in their community promoting the values acquired while students.
Since its inception in 1974 with the first United Black Students of California Convention held in Stockton under the leadership of Hattie Morris, groups of high school students, teachers and parent volunteers have gathered to promote cooperative efforts among high schools across the state.
