Scholarships

BOTH REGION AND STATE FEES MUST BE PAID BY SCHOOL AASU/BSU CLUB
BEFORE APPLICATION IS VALID.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

An award granted to a student who has demonstrated academic excellence. Basis of award:

1. Minimum 3.5 G.P.A.
2. SAT or ACT scores must be submitted and verified.
3. The student must have actively participated in a AASU/BSU that is credential by UBSUC in the year of the application.

FINE ARTS AWARD

An award granted to a student who demonstrates outstanding ability in the area of fine arts (literary, music, art, drama, dance, etc.). Basis of the award:

1. Minimum 2.5 G.P.A.
2. Demonstrated ability in the fine arts area. Please submit
samples or some form of verification of outstanding abilities in the area.
3. The student must have actively participated in an AASU/BSU that is credential by UBSUC in the year of the application.

UBSUC REGIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

An award granted to two students from each region who has made outstanding contribution to the AASU/BSU and Community. Emphasis is placed on AASU/BSU participation. Basis of award:

1. Minimum 2.5 G.P.A.
2. Outstanding leadership and service.
3. Academic potential.
4. The student must have actively participated in a BSU that is credential by UBSUC in the year of the application.


SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS MUST BE PRESENT AT THIS STATE CONVENTION.
